    Default hash browns

1,place grated potatoe and onion on a muslin square or a clean tea towel (the thin type)and squeeze as much water as you can out ,you will be amazed how much comes out,
2,place in bowl and add egg and season, and mix
3,put oil in frypan to heat
4,with hands shape mix into small type pattis about 4 with this amount.
5,drop into hot fry pan and cook till golden brown on both sides
p.s make sure to squeeze pattis so they stay together ,if the oil is hot should seal them up straight away anyway

to get the moisture out of the potatoes try using on of them blue J-clothes (unused obviously)

    They work a treat!
