If your mpps is not reconize in official version for sure your clone is dead and need to change MCU.An other members have the same problem but after reboot the interface work,maybe you can try.
After the only solution is reprogram with dump or change MCU

I looking for all symptoms.

Looking for information on mpps what happens if I run a new version with cloned cable.

After start new software firmware is reflashed.

Questions:

1. detect system cable or not ?

2. if detect what ID and PID show ?

3. what S.N. show ?

4. e.c.t.

You need to download it to official site Amt cartech.
V8 Start only if you have your interface link to USB.
If you don't be able to start in V8 your clone is perhaps dead.

you need a good dump for v8. for this operation you have at least 2 ways.

1. buy a good dump and flash by your self
2. buy a new uC flashed already with v8 dump (desolder the actual uC from your tool and afterwords solder the new uC on your tool).

one more possibility is:

my interface is linked to USB and 5.0.1.13 starts and works good:

- file version 5.0.1.13
- hw version 6.01

the version 8.x i downloaded from the official amt site but the software dont start and my device was not killed

Computer problem ?
Do you use before this two version cracked software ?
Because i was problem with this cracked version,After desinstall,impossibility for me to work with other version.
Official or cracked.Need to reinstall winXp and all.

i have tested it on several comupters, all the same - dont works with original 8.x.

if You do not have other solution I think you must buy V8 MCU.

Please go to mpps directory and use update or upgrade mpps,
your mpps HW must be v8.06 to run v8

Can you try it and let us now

Procedure:
1. Install MPPS V5.0.1.10
2. Run Patch MPPS V5.0.1.10 Patch
3. Put in the usb (from interface)and run FirmwareUpdate.Exe then MppsUpdate.exe
4. Finaly interface works

Working well, but only on K-line, no CAN... i check the wires between OBD conector and PCB - are O'k, any assumptions?
Actually with previous version of software - 3.02.37 i think, I am not test the interface with CAN...

Alu box are 100% safe till 3.0.2.37 after this update..not guaranteed..

Some working on K line.. me personnaly seen 3 mpps alu after 3.0.2.37 even no K-Line

Noone from me tested alu boxed mpps worked on Can
