Fiat 500 Lounge 2010 key error problem ? Help plz

I get the message in the photo (does this mean the dealer key has been made wrong ?)
I make a dealer key ok
then go to program the key and get this message
I have never had this before

Anyone know whats going on thx
P.s the car starts with the original key
the new key was unlocked and a pcf7946 chip and could be read ok
remote signal was good also

I have use the same supplier for all the fiat keys I use and never had a problem with there keys in the past 5 years

try a delphi kd key......I think the key purchased is incorrect or defective.....

500L use Marelli but you can program Delphi just the remote will not work

I had this problem on the same model with MK3 keys with fake emulated 7946 chip - generate dealer key OK - program key not possible

try plain 7936 chip if you program it for sure the remote key is faulty or fake

the VRM search on Autowave list the Reg EJ61EVM as a Delphi remote

P&D NO , THE LOUNGE IS NOT THE 500L ! , your reg is a ZFA312 fiat 500 lounge parts look up was correct , just normal fiat 500 , fiat 500L is different and uses marelli and vin would be ZFA 351/2 , so vin will confirm this for you in future and save you burning a key , if ZFA312 its delphi , if ZFA 351/2 its 500L and is marelli.

lounge is just a style finish on the 500 zfa312 so normal fiat 500 delphi flip. they have lounge , pop and a range of finishes but all still 500 using delphi.

i suspect you just have a bad key , it happens even with the best suppliers , ive even had oem fiat keys fail straight from packet , not chip but remote , all fine but after precoding remote is dead , happens , i suspect in this case use keydiy delphi or use a good aftermarket delphi key and all will be fine. i suspect issue is bad chip or bad logic on the chip.

i dont think 3d have a parts search by reg online , you can send vin to the codes text and they will do parts look up for you if a customer of theres , i believe the op used autowave parts look up.

i subscribe to a vrm look up to get vin and to parts link to check corect part by vin
