THis post is very useful. I have a question however, if i wanted strong acceleration on my 14.0, would adjusting max pulse width do anything? Where would i start? Nothing is wrong but i want to squeeze more power out this motor. Egr is already deleted by the way. Pulls very well in the hills but from gears 1-4 feels like no difference.
Any help is appreciated.
Ah ok ok thanks for the heads up. Ive heard adjusting the smoke control values possibly help as well in addition with PW. I think the paremeter is pw_fudgefactor? Also how about adjusting boi_fudgefactor as well (base of injection)? Pretty sure it advances timing? Or am i wrong?

I adjusted the BOI with the slew menu today and the clack was noticeably louder but it was running too rich. Any body have an idea a good place to start when messing with BOI and Pulsewidth?
Please clear

Bringing the old thread back to life
I have a DDEC v we run it on a Genset @1800 RPM the engine is rated 515Hp 2007 model seems when we pull 300HP (200KW) and beyond we get a Red Manifold
I have change all 6 Injectors in case the injectors were tired but this did not improve the situation at all I have not played with any timing adjustments in the ECM seems #4 cylinder gets red first
Does anybody have any ideas what might be the problem ?
Hey good to be here again
Red manifild after rapair?
Or just start with this issue? Some problems with red manifold start whennwe put diferent injectors codes
If manifold start to hot temp also when engine coolant is not at 180F problem can be on programing, or tje quantity of air that turbo loads,
