    Default avdi users questions!

    hi guys

Like most of you i want to buy something other than these chinese clones.

Basiclly im looking for a tool for adaptions, coding ecu and immo,as well as key coding of mercs and bmw, and so on.

I was reading on the tools web site that avdi is capabale of matching ecu and immo on the above cars,

my question is can this tool realy do diagnostics and matching like dealers tool?

Would owners of this tool write about their experience with this tool good or bad? much apreciated.

I think it is littel expensive and every function cost a lot cash. For VAG and bmw You need pay circa 9000 and You cant still make everything. Dashcoder says that key scribed with it to CAS can after update by BMW service not work.

The original poster has asked that owners who already or have used it reply, please don't post regarding clones or how expensive it is as we have no way of knowing how much money the poster has or the demand he would get if he could do the tasks required, I know several people who own AVDI (not members of this forum so they can't reply) who either have the basic package or the full package specific to certain brands, all have said it has paid for itself and more and has done everything they have needed it to do, because a product costs a lot of money to many of us, it doesn't mean it's too expensive to the right "end-user".

What would be useful is if those who have it also say what packages they have as well, as the feedback will help many others decide if it's for them.

1)I have it and I think they will littel too much for some software options, orginal avdi and tagkey programer look like poor china shit.

2)What serious company scribe X.X version RELEASED. And it is like ghost, no one see it at this moment.

3)It is true that they can some things that other cant do.

4)Why when they are so good, made CDC programmer exact like x-prog clone.

5)AVDI is really often self damaged, it is what say official resseler, regular K+CAN was much better.

6)My VAG Commander crash sometimes program, it is not master of stable.

7)Maybe I am wrong, but why You need to buy EDC17 pin read, when You need to read comfort system from Passat B6 to get CS? PIN is not stored in comfort module too? When there is stored why they dont show it us.

I have Avdi and tag key tool for a couple of weeks.
The free diagnostic functions that come with it are quite good but the good thing is that i use it with Toyota techstream software, Honda HDS, Ford scanner etc.
Only as a diagnostic multiplexer i think worth the money.
Special functions are a little expensive but if they do everything that they claim the price is fair.
Did you find a solution to your PROBLEM ?
Please give feedback for the rest of us to know.

    hi
Thnx all for input,my apology drakov,my budget is about ?2000, since the total package works out expensive,i just wanted a tool for bmw and mercs, which can match the ecu, immo, esl,on them cars, and also do diagnostics but i didnt want to waste my money without any check in here.

If thats ok with moderators, maybe its best to open a section on the tools that paople have , who can give un bias feed backs.

So generally is this a good tool for matching ecu/immo,coding,key programming for bmw and mercs, thats what im interested in,thnx
