There is legacy button and brings back old screen for key learning but i think i seen on abrites news that the once have to use it is with out 0n013...so dont know will try next one with legacy mode.

Had three mercedes all keys lost and the relay box never worked. The light always stayed green and it would never click.
Contacted my distributor and they confirm issues with some units. They sent me a new one.
New unit arrives and I go try a vehicle. This time the light changes color and I can hear the clicking sound of the relay....Problem...it's extrememly slow. I saw videos where they show box in action and it's at least three times faster. I waited over two hours and it still did not find password. I gave up and did eeprom. Was done in under an hour. Had the same issue, realized internet speed and computer speed makes a difference. 1 of my computers is definitely faster than the other at extracting pw. Relay clicks faster and the counter is faster on 1
Have an intel core i5 running laptop. hmm...I thought this would be quick enough.
I had exactly the same issue, Astra H. Resorted to other tool and reported error.
Range rover sport 2007 would not add key, used skp <60 seconds done.
Very poor.
I haven't had an issue resolved in the last 6 months and I've had plenty of issues!
On a positive note it did initialize a new electronic steering lock on a 2009 Mazda 6 which support asked development who responded we don't know if it does or not?

Hi, I recently came across a few questions about the DAS manager software and discovered an issue. Below you will see three scenarios that I hope could help someone:
Various problems in the W164/W221/W251/W216 cars and I will try to explain the most common of them:
1. Before facelift (where the connectors of the EZS are far apart)
-Here we have a car that if you have a working key you should be able to extract a password via working key and protag when you press "IR adapter and PROTAG"
-No working key - there is 1 solution - read the EEPROM and extract by dump.
2. After facelift (EZS connectors are close together)
- Working key - pretty much the same as the pre-facelift cars.
- Non working key - 1 solution in the world - IR adapter and extract each possible password (8192) by hand - put IR in, take it out.
3. Various problems: Mileage correction people tend to install software CAN blockers - if you have one it is highly likely to not be able to extract the password because there is a CAN blocker in the gateway that blocks communication with the EZS. SO if you have different values in the EZS and cluster it is likely that the car cannot be done unless you get star diagnosis and reflash.
AlekN , is there a fix for the failing vauxhall opel update where legacy mode is having to be selected on astra H etc reported by a few on here

Anyone else having issues adding a second key to mercedes? Use to be able to do in about 20 minutes or less. Now it fails after two hours with "server error, try again in a few days"
