Default New SV Box that works.......

I just had a very interesting call from the guy that I usually buy my sv box from..
He told me that from 22nd they will have a new box that will work in the same way as 6, 7 etc.
    However the cost is ?140+
Has anyone else heard this or got an offer thats the same. I have no reason to disbelieve him as he has been quite honest in the past.
He said he'd call me by Saturday to confirm it...
Please elaborate if anyone gets the same news....

If it works the same as sv 7 then why the need for a new box? Don't existing sv 7's work in the same way? Yet again I call bullshite

3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives

This is what I've been expecting to read, a new box, new sales, and a new system.
Because the old Starview may be kaput, and it seems theres a good reason for it, there is still a viable market but the best way to use that market is a whole new setup.
Anyone looking in from the outside can see that the obvious business sense is for a new system, possibly under a new name, because the authorities will be looking to nail anything 'Starview' related, especially if it has any possible links with the old one because of the current legal situation on it all.

I dont have anything to do with Starviews / Kryptviews etc. but I read the forums and look at the scenario's from an 'outsider' view, and I was always of the thinking that Starview may rise from the ashes, but not as 'Starview' but as something else. The chinese want your money, they'll find a way to get it from you.

They certainly wouldnt sell many at all, especially at that price. SV will have to slash their prices and organise a good uplink server team in order for them to start gaining some much needed credibility before they can expect a fair slice of the UK market again.

For the price of an SV that may last minutes, hours, days, weeks, or months if you're very lucky you could subscribe to Virgin and not have the hassle of wondering when it'll go off, or when you might have the police at your door.

Default Starview Can Sit on It.

As far as I am concerned I will not touch Starview ever again and I certainly wouldn't pay ?140 to them. If I knew who they were they would get a slap not more money. I was recommended SV rather than KV (MUPPETS!!!) If Starview did bring something else out I would do what I could to close them down again. Once bitten twice shy and still as angry as hell with them...
