Car is manual gearbox. EZS unit may be part of? Because re-scheduled
Hey , you have EGS 52 ? this fault couse after renw ECU ? it happen to me once same fault code , i SCN the ECU and the car started
car 2001 year
Where should my EZS unit to change?
if you notice he the dude said " ME 2.8 " all ME 2.8 have SCN ! and you can't change the data in ME2.8 with developer mode because ECU is interlocked , so we need SCN , Manual - Automatic coding in ECU not EZS ,i have done this job lot of times and if you see what i wrote is helpful , PREES THANKS !
Write this value at factory data

Are u sure about this?
Cause ME2.8 2001-2002 software versions and probably earlier versions can have the data changed with DAS developer mode my friend without any SCN coding.
Codemaster knows what he's talking about.
I did this few times...not so many times as you said but it is still working. And I was never asked by DAS to make an SCN coding even in regular DAS not developer mode.
Regards
yes ME 2.8 can change the EX data not the IM data , with developer mode not all the data can chage with normal das such as speed limited , code master give Fctory data and it mean SCN ! as well its easy to enter to ECU eventhogut i prefare SCN and i have other way can start the car without that way and its much easy , people who don't comment and who don't " thank " need to find that them self !!! if you need any infor about how to implize coding contact me in private ,
Have a good day "cocutanu" !
You are wrong M8 Mercedes did not implement SCN coding till 2003, if you have the right SDS version you can code me2.8 of-line. I made many ME2.8 2001-2002 virgin and code of-line. no problem. 2003 you need SCN Coding. As always there is a way around that i you know the tricks.
You getting that code because the ECU looks at the vehicle configuration and it knows you have a Automatic Transmission, and cannot communicate with it so directs you to the transmission to correct the problem.
Go to EZS adaptation and select manual transmission.
