    Yes, You are right.
    But I don't know how to check Voltage during programming, because when I push "program" button it shows Vcc overloaded and no Voltage on selected pins.

    No! The correct value of the Zener diodes is 5.1 V.
    meteor80 - the correct voltage should appear for a short time. Connect the multimeter, and then press the "program"

    If Xprog-m still follows its predecessor, Xprog, design concept, all those zener diodes are 5.6v

    Hi i have same problem with original xprogm trying to read 9s12 in cas3 and ews4 at the moment, so i ordered tantalum capacitors, but did you guys who had the problem fixed it by changing them capacitors or not ?
    Also what cause the capacitors to get damaged ?

    connection pin 9 (PE7) of ATMEGA64, ddtc143EVA, IRF7316 and LM317L

    You must do the test during reading or writing(with or without MCU,EEP)
    5V - pin2,3,6,7 LM317l
    0V - collector of DDTC143EVA
    12V - pin5,6 IRF7316

    pins in lm317 maximum voltage 2.9
    pins in IRF7316 MAXIMUM 10 V

    I replaced LM317 and IRF7316 BUT STILL THE SAME PROBLEM
    Any more ideas ?

    the yellow capacitors has shortcircuit. remove them and check them with a multimeter . in ohms you will see shortcircuit.
    be carefully they have + and - . take a picture how you have remove them .

    i have fix mine xprogm a lot of times and i am sure that know is better than original .


    some times if i use chinese usb cable by xprogm not works . so i have found the appropiate to do my job.try different cable.

    had the exact same problem with reading hc912, recently moved my gear into a different room. so i used a different usb lead (not the original i was using), binned the used and got the original one back. All working well now!
