OPEL Delco CDR 500 code by serial

I haven't tried it yet. I'll try it tomorrow... Can I let the radio on , using the power source, and not the car? In 30 minutes I'd waste the fuel... Is it ok if I connect both +IGNITION and +BATT together at + 12 v of the source, and then start the radio by pressing AS and ON knob, and let it like that for a few hours, and after that to shut it off by the knob?

Thats the way to do it, but use a separate power supply and do it on the bench ....

Ok. Another simple question- can the combination MAX232 interface+ Licznik 4.8a also decode a Blaupunkt CAR300 radio? For this old radio I have the code, and I'm trying to figure out if I can trust the figures that Licznik is displaying....

No, CAR300 doesn't use a K-Line to process code
If you are getting different figures then your RS232 is unstable, look at changing to 9600-n-1 from max baud
