    Exclamation Smart Gearbox mod

    Hi Guys.

    Tricky question...I have a friend which asked if it s possible to reflash Smart Gearbox?

    In order to shortener the shift timings?

    Does anybody know something about? how to reflash gearbox ecu? and how to mod the file in order to short shift timings...

    Any help is apreciated

    Smart gearbox is mitsubishi with mh8104f inside, i hope i can do a reading of one this week

    This MCU from Renesas M32R series. It can done with MMC Flasher (k-line) or with Piasini.

    Nope m8

    Just uploaded the readout here in a new thred,....
    And i can tell you that it is not m32r - it is mh8104f and i haven't read it with mmc,......

    mh8104f = Renesas m32r (MCU M32R with internal flash 512Kb, like in ECM of Lancer X 1.5l and in new Mazda 6 2.0 TCM), i am assured
    if ECU have a K-line, reading via MMCFlasher is possible

    I have tune lot of them !
    it do also for customers that buy tuning for engine years ago they can have also the gearbox mod since a little more as 2 years
