Just noticed there is an update on skybox.cc for F3S/F5S dated from 20/08/14 entitled 140410. Not installed and do not have access to my F5S at present. Does anyone know what differences there are with this update? Or is it an older update?

if this is the one in question " SKYBOX_F3S_F5S_3601HD_CMT_14041006DA" yes it is an old one, 10 apr 14 as in 140410

hi i've done a firmware update for my f5s box dated 10 april 2014 but my box nation is still scrambled i also know that my box is a cloned box so i used the software
which was the correct one off the clone box web site but still no picture only sound any idea's please or is there another update doesn't seem to be on the web site
just thought i'd ask just incase i've missed something thanks

The latest firmware is the one that you stated i.e. !0th April, 2014 and that should have fixed the issue - there has been no later firmware released. Provided you have upgraded it correctly and you have the latest channel list then the issue lies with a subject that is against the rules to discuss. I would check that you have upgraded correctly. This can be done by entering the Menu of your device and navigating to the menu option that is named " Information ". When you enter this menu option it will state the date of the firmware n the bottom line. Check it to see if it matches the date. If it doesn't then you haven't successfully upgraded the firmware.

yes done all that and it is the same date as we have discussed i've used aj's lastest channel list but still the same as to a subject which is against the rules don't know
what you mean because all else os ok with the box nothing else is missing except that channel

I have an openbox X5 and I need the firmware. Can someone help me please? I ain't thick but I am having a struggle to get the firmware. Just a point in the correct direction would be very welcome.. New to forums so it is a bit of a maze at the moment.

looking for latest openbox v8s firmware as my box has got the faint red dot along with 8 also having trouble
with com port error my pc is running windows 7 and the port worked a few months ago when i had to reflash
a friends f5s box so any ideas would help thanks
