    Hi,
has anyone experienced that the CIM refuses the security code?
I need to calibrate the SAS after tearing and repairing the clockspring FPC.
I have the security code (which is accepted by all the other controllers in the car) but when trying to enter it in OPCOM's CIM screen I get the error "The control unit NOT accepted the security code! Either timed out, or got an illegal response !" I also tried it many times, without triggering a security wait time.
Is it possible that the CIM has a different pin? At this moment I can't do a dump of the CIM EEPROM because mine has the MC9S12DB128 / 3L40K controller without external EEPROM and I have no tools to read it. Anyway I doubt a different pin could be possible.
The CIM works flawlessly except obviously the mentioned behavior.
    What could I try?

If you enterd the code with op com then probably it has swapped the code in the CIM its happend to me also and after lots and lots of research I managed to disover that code in the CIM was enterd like this.
EXAMPLE : You enterd 4564 in a virgin CIM and it was accepted ok after a recycle of the ignition you re enter the same code 4564 for programming or coding or what ever and you get wrong code enterd, Its beacause CIM has stored the code swaped and is now recodnized like this (5446),I think its some bug in op com that has not been discoverd and fixed by developers.Any way to get done with this you
need to enter your code swapped so CIM can see it propaly. So let say our ori code is like our friends here 4564 you need to enter it 5446 and all will be ok.
    ENJOY GUYS !!!!
Think this has happened to me my code is 3490 what you type and try using your method?

    Many Thanks

    Rich
