Have you set up a connection profile?

Download Mobile Partner PC installed copy and use that. Ensure that the Vodafone dashboard does not start-up or run in background!!

Better still uninstall the Vodapoo software completely (with modem removed) and then install the PC copy of Mobile Partner. Now plug in your modem, let it install the drivers but stop it from trying to install Vodacrap software.

Now set up a profile by going to Tools > Options > Profile Management.

Vodajunk software will NOT recognise any SIM card that is not from Vodafone EVEN if the modem is unlocked!!!

See first post in thread and when you have five or more posts to your credit, you can download the program to generate your own unlock code!

I assume that you haven't 'read' all of the first post?

Everything you need to know and more is there! Only you can decide if its 'hard' or easy... I mean, to Einstein everything was quite easy!!

Probably because you are still trying to use the Orange dashboard software I'm guessing?

If you are running Mobile Partner, it should as for the unlock code if you insert any other SIM than a Orange card...

Try the attached tool to enter the code.

You'll need to download and use WinRAR to extract the .EXE file. Be aware that some anti-virus programs flag it as containing a virus... It is clean and tests 100% under NOD32.

    Close ALL dashboard software.

    1. Click select COM Port
    2. Click Detect
    3. Click Accept if OK
    4. Click Unlock Modem and enter 8 digit code.

    That's it!
