Have a look through the commando image thread and about half way through it some one has attached a word doc.
It's a how to, all the info you need is there!
I installed the comando image on my dm 500s, but as ive been reading CCcam is not installed and has to be put on through dcc, also there is no CCcam.cfg in the var/etc.
I have ccam 2.1.4 downloaded, i also have cccam.cfg.txt.
In dcc how do i add the CCcam.cfg in the var/etc, Also where and how do i put CCcam 2.1.4 in dcc.
I always had cccam on the images i installed, or could download them from the blue panel, this is all new to me.

flash commando image to box using dreamup with a null cable
should take about 12-15mins,when done disconnect and connect
box to tv/router,turn tv and box on you should have free to air.
using dreambox control centre (dcc)you need to ftp 2 files to the box.
These files are CCcam.cfg and CCcam.pcc you can download these
by googleing CCcam.pcc, unpack it there are a few files
in there but you only need these two.
put the 2 files CCcam.cfg and CCcam.pcc on your desktop.
run dcc getting your user/password right and
your ip address, when you have solid green line
press ftp.you should have 2 panels with files in
1 on the left 1 on the right.the 1 on the right
isr pc,click user in the one on the right
and find desktop, in desktop you will see the 2
files you downloaded.now in the panel
on the left double click var/etc then in panel on right
click CCcam.cfg and click the arrow
in the middle of the panels the 1 pointing left and you will
see it load up.click green arrow top of panel
on left twice.then double click var/bin/emu,in
panel on right click CCcam.pcc and then click arrow
in middle pointing left, you will see file loading up.
when loaded right click and rename file to CCcam
this is important for it to work, dont forget
first 2 letters are capitals.
just put your line in CCcam.cfg and your away.
dont forget to turn CCcam on
by pressing blue,commando extras menu
softcam menu and turn CCcam on.job done.enjoy.
TEDS.
Did this only yesterday mate.i had problems at first but now I must say this is the best image I have used.after you have tranfered the 2 files into the right folders u have to rename CCCam.ppc to CCcam then transfer to var/bin/emu
Good luck
Have followed the steps but still not working for me. Any help please
So uve FTP the 2 files into var/etc making sure they are spelt with 2capital C s. CCcam.cfg and CCcam.ppc?then uve FTP the CCcam.ppc to the folder var/bin/emu then rename to just CCcam.
Then reboot .thats the steps I did to get it to work .good luck
