Change VIN on W211 2006..

Hi I have tried to find this info in the forum without any help so I start thread insted..

Never played with VIN but there is a customer now that need to do VIN change.

I want to ask if its possible do change VIN by obd on some of the modules or not? I know I can do the EZS without problem. ZGW also I think I can do but not tested.. so the question is how to read engine ECU and the rest of the modules to change VIN.

And other question.. what module does dash get the VIN from? only EZS or from engine ecu also? I mean if I change VIN only in EZS will the new VIN come on the dash and the car will start or no?

I never played with VIN thats why I sound like a noobie heheh
