    Question

    Good morning everyone,
I'm new to this Dreambox world and I'm stuck in the flashing process.

I have a DM800se clone, when it boots it says SIM2 and BL84.
I have downloaded several images but it won't let me flash them.
I open the browser, connect to the Dreambos in STOP status, select the NFI file, press the flash button and that's it, the process starts but it never ends. Why is that?
I even flashed different boot loaders but with no luck:

    - sim2SE_SSL84_0923.nfi
    - sim2_800SE_SSL84B.nfi

I have tried several images, here's a few of them:

    - openee-gecko-dm800se-11-02-ramiMAHER.nfi
    - OpenPLi-Evolution Plugin-dm800se-2012-01-28-sim2-SSL-84b by aguda.nfi
    - BlackHole-1-7-0-dm800se-ramiMAHER.nfi
    - OpenPLi-All Vu+-dm800se-2012-01-27-sim2-SSL-84b.by aguda.nfi
    - DDD-dm800se-1-6a-01-28-ramiMAHER.nfi

    What am I doing wrong?
What is the exact sequence for this to work?
How do I know if I have SIM 2.1 or 2.01?

I'm doing all this with a Mac OSX.
Thank you very much for your kind help.

Hi all. I've downloaded Newnigma2 image which is supposed to have 84 second bootloader but when I go into Tsp panel it says my second bootloader is version 82!!? Could this be a problem for this image please as when I change channel I quite often get a message: "Tuner not found"!!?? Many thanks for any help/replies

l just install straight over the top m8 .,, ssl means it updates boot loader on install

l use this sim201-SS82-de-133dv3PHOENIX2-dm800-13052011.nfi in downloads .. its a good image . havnt tried the later bootloader but cant see a difference

Much faster (reboots within 30 seconds...maybe less) and displays channel logos on oled....mini USB to connect for flagging when getting the no ca error....
