Default Dbscar 5 turns ON and OFF immediately

    Hi friends

I have problem with dbscar tool buy recently. When powered on, the beep is ok, the LEDs ok but it goes out after a few seconds, there is a crackling noise.

I can't find the fault, has a colleague already had such a case ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

It can be a hardware failure. A shorted capacitor or mosfet. (The usual suspect to make it turn off)

Reminds me of what we taught about failures following the bath tub curve. The probability of failure of something is much higher at the start of its life and at the end of its life. If it's under warranty just return it

Too strong in the totally logical explanation. I will further my research hoping not to have to change all the mosfets and capacitors I hope that a friend who has experienced a similar adventure will direct me to the right address or the right path. Respect to you Fuzz1

You don't need to change all MOSFETs or capacitors. Use a multimeter to find out if there's any short to ground. Only one side of the capacitor should be connected to ground. For the MOSFET there's also a way to check them with a multimeter using diode mode

    Hi

Thank you again dear friend Fuzz1, thanks to you I found the motivation and I have a good lead, find a broken fuse, no continuity, when I supply with 12 V this fuse is extremely hot, let's hope that it didn't damage anything in the process, unfortunately i'm not that kind of fuse, i'm going to order and see the result.

The PCB is not exactly like the ones i see on google, maybe mine is fake?

    Respect to you.

Unfortunately I can't see any fuse in the red circle you indicated. Could only see a connector. Anyway if you found a blown fuse more likely replacing it will not solve the issue. There is a short somewhere on the board. I have been helped by psacars a few times. He is an electronic engineer. Maybe if you send pictures of the whole board someone might offer some help

Thank you very much for your support dear friend Fuzz1 here are the images of the PCBs, it looks like it is different at the level circled in red, I'm afraid it's a fake thank you.
