Being a cycle track you have the right to use it, but believe it or not the old fart had the right of way, but was well wrong with it just being a footpath just make sure to give him plenty of room as old farts tend to have walking sticks and bike spokes and sticks don't mix

Everybody has to give way to pedestrians. It's just that some cyclists believe they have a god given right to do whatever they feel like.
Kind of strange since we're all pedestrians. Makes me wonder if they give cyclists a hard time when they're walking.

So riding home, the road is like that oasis song, windy, car behind up my arse, gets to end of road, over takes hits his brakes, cutting me up.

Sees where he is going and knows he going to get stuck in traffic, so like michal Jackson, boots it, catches the guy up, cuts him up, then as traffic moves slowly slows him down, lets two cars in, still slow, then he decides to Emeinem and go round the outside, round the outside.

seconds later, got in front of him, by which time he's not a happy camper.

Not really. From what I have noticed they appear to want to carve themselves a career as being either

Bonnet ornaments or
Bus/Lorry/Car traction tyre inspectors

and lastly extinct as a species, but no they don't annoy me. Though a lot of them are illiterate and colourblind, since very few read the highway code and don't realise there's a difference between red and green. The more of the illiterate colourblind ones who get squished the better, it leaves the road for those cyclists who can read and aren't colourblind.
