Default VW Tuareg Position Sensor in Transfer Case

Hello , I have problem with VW Touareg 2.5 tdi 4x4 , Do not turn on rear-wheel drive.
I read two faults that do not cancel with the drive controller. :
02039 - Position Sensor in Transfer Case (G398)
009 - Open or Short to Ground
    02059 - Motor Temperature Sensor (G407)
010 - Open or Short to Plus

Please help, what might be causing these errors and where are these sensors located?

the 02059 has nothing to do with it
now the 02039 is the problem
and i read somewhere that is
a stepper motor in the centre diferencial
that engages the low gear and regulates
    the 4wd operation that dies
but just google it bro in some vw forums you
can find that info even pdf about it
you can also try in audi forums
with the same problem in Quattro cars
or Q7 or Q3 since thats all the same system.

Please tell me where is the G398, and whether it is a sensor or a potentiometer? I have the wiring diagram in the two languages, one shows the potwncjometr-G398 is a knob for switching (near the gear shift lever) in another schema potentiometer G398 is potensiometer as if the motor or the motor transfer case.

    Hi

I've checked the VW wiring diagrams it shows that both sensors (G398 and G407) as well as the control motor (V253) are in the transfer box. You can remove the motor and the sensor through the back of the transfer box. I think you must loose the drive shaft. if you want i'll send you some schematics.

    Best regards
