BDM100 Write Error - Please Help

Maybe problem from BDM software
I read and write ME 9 from BMW, with Magpro2 BDM v3
and no problem.
No need external power

Can you share this thread ,,Found a thread where it says to short some parts in the circuit board of the ME9.2 to enable write'',because i got the same problem.Thanks in advance

EPEE need to be activated in case of delete/write - no problem after that.

Tested, works like a charm.

Yes you must remove the resistor during the whole procedure.

I have same prloblem with edc 16U1 VW Touran, does this solution "short" was good to that ecu too?

Hello Tuner Friends !

I know this is an old Thread but i think in Future somoen can use this information.

i had the same problem with write error BDM100 on Bosch DME7 (ME9.2) with 28F800F3 chip.

The last bytes can not be written. Its only possible if WP is dissabled.

the solution is to solder a wire on Pin 53 (28F800F3T) to 3,3V and WP is dissabled.

if you are using a 10 Pin Adapter like me than you can solder the wire on the first Pin on the left side (3,3V) - Look at the Picture

The DME7 have only 12 Pads not 14 like in other Bosch Ecus (edc16)

i do this post only because i haven't found a really good explanation how to.

i hope i can help with this post some people with the same problem !

As a result of experiments, I found a more convenient way to activate the recording - just close 2 contacts and that's it! Tested personally.

I also had problems cloning this ecu with bdm100 and xprog
