great post, you mention in the guide that i need a .dbs channel list but the channel lists on this website are .ndf, does that matter?

    Nice, good job.

    BUT.....
I do not have an upgrade by USB Option under Tools, am on DSB2-10-10-26 1647CMT (forgive me could be slight of, can not see now) and need to upgrade Firmware due to crash on card insertion.
    USB to serial possible?

    Any help?

    Cheers

    Default USALS

Great guide Shady, really helped a lot...

...but why do you say "don't select USALS for all satellites"?

(I'm trying to setup multisat with openbox s11 and don't think that's an option that can be selected)

Perhaps someone can settle a ... "dispute". I am also a new S11 owner and managed to get everything set up just fine.. EXCEPT my sealion (cute disguise) doesn't reach the server. I believe that this is because, like many folks, I have a password-protected router. To gain access to the internet through it, one has to input the password - even my iphone has to do it to use the wifi through my router. I can find no way to input this password on the S11 and my mate says there shouldn't be any need to do so.. and yet it doesn't work.
Anyone have an opinion on this one... or a solution?
    and, of course, thanks.

If your wired to router then you don't need password.

Realign your dish or you won't pick up any channels.
