Vas is dealer level diagnostic so what more explanation do ou need??
If you can not do it whit Vas than you cant do it at all.
About odometer, there is 0 of dealers diagnostics that will ajust that part that you interested....
You need dedicated tools for odometar corections....

Installing a new cluster (less than 100 km on it) you can write any desired milage into. This goes for VCDS and VAS.
VAS won't be affected by internet connection, whereas VCDS can be destroyed.
Yesterday we stood in front of the abyss. Today we'll move ahead.

If you need any repair manual, pm me- maybe I can help you.

    hi
i have an original VCDS cable and VAS 5054a Clone(new arrival)
the VAS is most user-friendly than VCDS specially for mechanical dealer
But the VAS clone have a problem with a some function like Flash program(don't work) and UDS protocol in some cases!!

the VCDS is better for special function like VIM=Video in motion

Vas need to work only XP sp2-3 instead VCDS need xp seven32 and 64bit!!

for my hobbies i prefer in most case the VCDS cable!!
    Original Vag-Com HEX-USB+CAN Rev.B from Ross-Tech...

ELM 327 chinese with 1.4b "genuine" soldering pic!!!

If you don***8217;t have any idea about VAG cars VCDS is more helpful with coding ***8211;adaption,etc.
Vas 5054 is for them who know how to use it!
    VCDS is faster !
But there are some adaption that only vas can do!
