    AUTOCOM my original serial

    S / N 39071
    a-710-254
    key pc = CLCFUWRAAIMQ
Keep serial number in interface set as 30250 for both cars and trucks.

    Use
    Serial: 30250
    ID: a-710-479
    HW Key: AJVPYMEKPPDK
    to install cars

    Then use
    serial: 30250
    ID: a-710-254
    HW Key: GFOBCJMBUQHY
    to install trucks.

if you have already installed it with a 30971 serial number .. what are the steps to reinstall it for use on both car and trucks basically will reinstalling it overwrite the the serial or the serial number change program has to be run 1st to get it to 30250?

Is the final result same Hd , 2 installs 2 shortcuts , one for cars and one for trucks?

You will have to change the serial number in your unit to 30250 then install cars with that serial then install trucks. They both run on same hard drive just 2 shortcuts

    Question

ok great and the option to change serial number is via soldering the AT chip and editing directly or use the prog on here to do that ? on another thread many members had problems using the program to change serial , is that all resolved now ? has anyone done it successfully?

Just use the Realterm program and the instructions on here. Make sure interface is powered up (plugged into car) or you wont be able to read change it.
