AFAIK CAS Diag do not mean OBD - only "ST CAS" plug on dismounted CAS unit. But without soldering wires.

OBD means plug into car OBD socket
tried it on one car BMW but would not connect
As for st cas plug its not in my set
If anyone got wiring diagram I will make one and test, I have spare cas to try

ST CAS color - SUB25 Pin
blue - 9
blue/white - 10
black -13
red -25

Made a lead with these pinouts
Digiprog said no connection
It didnt do any damage to the cas

did a focus 2011 diag the other day, did it no problem
another one came this morning machine said no connection ?
went to do a mondeo 2008 diag same thing no connection ?
pissed about with 9 DWAY plug on OBD lead and it did the mondeo straight away.
went to maplins purchased a new 9DWAY socket cut the old one off and replaced with new one, call the lad with focus
worked every time
Dodgy plug
could be why it would not do bmw cas through diagnostic socket
Hope
new plug is alot better fit
Im sure some one mentioned this in an earlier post on here
if your doing a merc 204 or 212 I would recomend changing plug as if it loses connection (PROBLEMS)

Interesting thread, except for the merc without blocker it doesn't do anything special. Out of a 100's software numbers on MB clusters/EZS we have covered 1/2 cars on the whole thread that works? BOTH from same person. What's all the hype about? Other then that we have a hand few Fords, which even carprog can do.. have i missed something... ''IF its to good to be true'' then well.. you know the rest. If you mess up a Merc, i think its gonna cost more then 600USD to put right.

I seem to remember the main question (post 1) was asking for PDF files which a few people have sent (Thanks)
And for it doing mercs it's well worth 600usd I paid, free updates free delivery and before anyone mentions it I know you can get it cheaper
cars i,ve tried i will post on here post 65, but i will only try them when i have time or if my other machine wont do them ie merc 204 212

talked to a fellow a while back, had clone ak400 or ak500, wouldn't work for sh!t at first, he said re-soldered connectors, resistors etc.. worked excellent after that, so a good guess would be on all CLONES corrosion / resistance might cause most of the problems, good to always keep that in mind +1 on this post for sure.

I also did strip unit down and soldered D 25 pins and D 9 pins connected to board just incase

since changing the 9 Dway plug on OBD LEAD merc 204 assyst works now takes about 10 mins where as mileage only takes 2 mins

DEFINITELY CHANGE THE 9 Dway PLUG

Im waiting to get my package from the site you ordered from, I'm looking at the cables and notice that there is no DIP or SOIC clips??? Am I going bananas or are these not included? If there not do you know if there compatible with Smelecom/DP3/Enigma/TU??? It would be easy to just order spares from them.
