Digiprog 3 clone questions and answers

vw beetle 1998. USA miles.

read with xtool ok . write km not ok.

use digiprog.
menu beetle -2011 -> diag
first read.. it shows '?'
then it asks old mileage. I enter old miles
then it ask new mileage.
write new mileage ok!

can Digiprog 3 works for BMW X5 E70 - 2013 to correct mileage ? with R270 for CAS ?

It should, I made with it E83 X3 from 2010. Should be the same.

Correct me if i'm wrong - the procedure.

So the sequences will be first remove CAS to check the microcontroller mask type than install back, connect Digiprog via obd and update mileage. Than remove the Cluster find EEPROM connect it with R270 and update Mileage than install cluster back.
at the end erase DTC error using Digiprog

I take down the CAS and TAcho have made tacho with rr270 and then made CAS with Digiprog. You can do also EWS if you want. then you have 100% milage changed.
After all instaled i have removed all faults with ISTA. You can use other interface to remove DTC.

Nov every DTC is with new milage

i did polo 2012 with digiprog. it gave error in dash.

tried to disconnect battery didn't help. (which battery-pole is best to disconnect? min or plus or both?)

then I tried xtool using the JC option (it was jc cluster). but can't connect. it dont change.

It's ok, to see new mileage in dash, but still far far away from 100% job.
What about EGS, TPMS, engine ECU, xdrive box, battery replacement, other locations in CAS, AIF ...
You need AVDI or BMW Explorer to do this properly.
