    Default citroen c4

    55 reg, 1.4 petrol, problem is on startup revs stop at 1500rpm. plugged in diag, faults are map sensor, in live data shows 0, changed map still the same, done pinouts to ecu all wiring fine. i have checked voltage at map sensor according to autodata. it says there is a 5v, gnd, 4v. i am missing the 4v so i suspect ecu fault, can i use second hand ecu or does it have to be new, numbers on it : iaw 6lp2.05. thanks

    yes you can use another used ECU and immobilizer swap file, that has a central processor st10 vc copies banks 1 and 2 for the immobilizer

    i have a xprog m, do you have a wiring diagram of were i have to solder to to read st processor. thanks

    Id image the 4v is a signal from map sensor to ecu???,

    So replacing ecu, wont fix, as youve changed map sensor, check for air leaks as ashraf says. if all good cut wire coming out of map sensor and test voltage again, as wire to ecu may be down to ground in loom????

    a bit of feedback, i disconnect camshaft sensor and voltage then was right at map sensor, 5v, 4v, gnd. problem was the camshaft sensor, its on the same line as the map sensor 5v. it was shorting out therefore bringing the voltage down on map sensor. the camshaft sensor is located behind air filter box coming off throttle body. thanks for all help.
