Keys are for specific channels or packages.. just because one channel clears with keys doesnt mean another will..

Some channels will be Nagra2 which is open and some Nagra3 which isnt and is very unlikely to become open

Could you also explain how you all get the softkeys so quick and post in an acceptable format that the receivers can understand?
thats THE $64'000 question and one you will not get an answer for

Is their a program we can easily use to do it ourselves?
No.. there used to be an AU (Auto Update) available in firmware but these are mostly gone as channels improve encryption services

Keys, Cams & Updates are a dying form mate.. Those channels that used Nagra2 and other types of encryption that were hacked have all started to move over to more secure encryption, they were loosing millions of pounds in revenue due to a lack of genuine subscribers..

Very soon nothing will be open, this has just happened in the USA, Europe will not be far behind..

I'm afriad to say that if you want to view Pay TV without a subscription it will have to be via a server box like the Dreambox or an IP Box

all help should be in the sticky thread section but if you are stuck you will have to give us your exact model as the patches are for specific boxes.

    You don't use a loader on tm500.

You have a image for the box, then using Technomate Control center you send it to the box and it should flash in a few mins.

you need to do a forced download mate give this a try.
    *****************
if you have a bad download or your receiver locks up this is how to
clear the problem, you can only do this procedure with a [null modem cable]
if your model has a [usb port], this wont work useing a [memory stick]
first turn the receiver off with the switch on the rear panel of your receiver.
next connect your null modem cable from your computer 9 pin com port
to the rs232 port on the receiver, you can now use either the official opperating software from technomate.com or load the latest patch for your model, after loading the software on the v187 loader and you click connect
when the darkman v1.87 loader asks connect the receiver and turn it on
go to the receiver and turn it on again with the switch on the rear panel
turning the receiver on at the rear will force the download and clear the problem caused by any incomplete downloads or faulty patches etc:.
after the download has fully loaded the box should now boot and work normally and the channels open
    *****************************
some take the lnb cable from the receiver before doing this download
if you remove the lnb cable make sure the receiver is turned [off] before
you [remove or re-connect the lnb cable].

Question Technomate 5400 newbie - what do I need to download

I'm an absolute newbie, and I've got a Technomate 5400. What would I need to download to have the latest patches? And I've heard I also need a softcam??? Do you think it's possible to get Living2 and some kids channels?

    Thanks

If you give us your exact model we can help because you need different patch depending on model.

also patching will not help if you can only get astra/eurobird @ 28.2 East.

    Hi,

I am in a similar poition to "bienchen" but with a :
    Model : TM-1000D SUPER
    S/W Version : Darkman 2.11p (Nov 17 2006)
    H/W Version : 1.11
    Boot Version : 2.10 (08:11)
    CH Version : OCT:06

Please can anyone help with links to what i need to download to bring the box to its maximum viewing potential. It is connected to a motorised dish.
    I have a PC and a 9pin laplink / null modem cable.
I downloaded Darkman_TMLoader_187 from this brilliant forum. Is it the correct / latest loader for my TM-1000D ?

What other downloads can I feed into the loader to update the box keys, channels, etc.... ?

    Kind Regards and Thank You
    Naresh
