Flash the hitachi back to stock first then reflash with 1.51.

thanks cj, does that i mean i just tick the restore firmware box and then hit the restore to stock button, bearing in mind that i didnt flash it so i dont have the dumped files.
also how do i know which drive revision i have, is it automatic?

Thats the new AP2.5 (Anti-piracy) in the new dash mate... do some reading, shoulda kept away from new dash.. you're not safe online now... wait for new firmware before connecting to live ... new dash and playing any new game with AP2.5 . fable/AC:brotherhood/NFS is gonna flag you straight away.

first identifiy your drive type then get the files you need

included is the xbins auto loginin program
this will get you into the xbins ftp site where all the goodies you could possibly need are stored
are these still available as i keep getting sent to a blank page..cheers

It's an old link so probably not. Google 'auto xbins 2008' for the program.

Use jrunner. If you have your nand backups then load them both then your cpu key. Download the dash you want. Configure dashlaunch. Also select mod version ie jtag rgh 1 or 2. Create nand flash with nand x or Jr programmer or via xell reloaded

If you don't have back up then your gonna need nand x or programmer to read nand. Get cpu key from xell
