I had a problem with flash videos on mint 16 and couldn't watch any video. This may have been my own fault as I accelerated video in you tube. I'm really looking for a good video editor and both distros have thrown up one good one each.

if they could get dcc and dreamup to work i'd never use windys again using ubuntu 10.04 for a while now no issues other than that

I had from a previous owner of my xp hundres of thousands of Virtumonde files on windy and was a real pain during a malware or virus scan. Complete wipe of windows for me 'cause i'm never going back.
