upgrades

1) light converted from MES to ESS (Edison screw soldered)
2.4 watt LED round dome from @tesco 50p held in place
By @parksafe2 insulation tape & wires extended using
Bit of a #saxo loom from @citroenuk loom its bright
Brughter than Vic.

2) disabled OEM therostat

3) installed #aftermarket thrmostat fresh from
#china ?6 using stolen yellow scaffolders tape
To hold the sensor.

4) rerouted the sensor up the drain tube.

5) water evaporater, converted from two screw
Fixing to one - lug snapped whilst trying to remove

Electrolux fridge opened door leaking water from the bottom.
You're like OH NO have to empty the rear tray, so you hugs the fridge and carry him out, but the tray is dry
as a camel.
So you take a cooper 13AWG 12 inches and stuff it in the drain tube.
No joy. Try'n'try and horray the wires go all the way down.
Rinse and repeat, clean the internal bottom, close door, hughs the fridge and carry him in its original position.

So you remove 7 phillips screws disconnect die speed reggaelator you grab your
trusty annaalog ohmeter you turn the knob and see the niddle is in the ohm range
high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-high-
high-high-high-high-high-high-middle-middle-middle-middle-middle-low-low-low

So die logaritmic potentiometer is working.
You remove 2 more screws and you watch the pcb and oooooohhhhh there you are one of the anode
terminal of the triac has a tiny tiny crack just after the anode pad.
So you cut a 1.6 inches wire 15 AWG you grab your trusty iron solder following the route not doing
again that silly 90 degrees route that is cracked because of vibration.
You sold the wire, put everything back together, turn the knob to min, start the vacuum
VROOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM die jet motor is now spinning at idle , turn die knob just a little
and can you breath??? So powerfull.
