Default zafira uec pin read on bench.

Hi everyone its Dave and my first post. I have a under bonnet uec from a 2009 zafira, and need to pin read for setting back of old unit, Can anyone suggest which pins to read on,without stripping unit to access eeprom. Any help would be much appreciated.

you don,t need to strip the complete unit or even remove it from the car, the plastic cover which stands up pops off and will then reveal the small pcb which will pull up once you release 2 clips holding it in place and if you're replacing the uec just transfer this to the donor one.

Hi Tango i have the uec from zafira stripped. Can anyone help with the solder connections for reading dump please. I looked at an image posted by Microopel. but the connection points don't look the same. as in the same positions. I could use a more defined image if poss. Any help would be appreciated.

from what i remember the eprom (95040) is under the plastic connector and you have to cut a bit out to get to the eprom
pinout you can just google the chip id and look at the datasheet

If I'm not mistaken, the write pin is on the ground and you will have to read the eeprom in the programmer. Post the file and it will be solved.
