Default TM5402HD Audio out of sync

    Hey guys,

So I updated to the new F/W for my box, Phantompatch-TM5402HDCI_ALL_128p_11-03-2013, and at first all seemed fine. However I am finding that although the FTA channels are fine all other channels are periodically glitching which is causing the audio to run out of sync.
Just wondered if anyone else was having this problem and if so is there a fix/workaround aside from reverting to my previous F/W?

Many thanks in advance for any insight into this.

As you already said the FTA channels work absolutely fine which points to and we cannot discuss in too much detail but the problem is with the 'Magic' that is stored on the 8281 function of the box that there my friend is the problem which as you say 'Glitches'

I would also check your internet just to be on that safe side especially the ping/tracert and see what that comes back with.

Thanks for the reply digicon, spent a bit of time trying things and it would seem that its not the 'magic' thats the problem as such. As you mentioned, that is the cause of the glitching, well most likely my internet to be precise as its running through my android phone by way of wireless tether but when i revert to my previous F/W (123p) although it does glitch from time to time the audio remains synced, however, when i load up 127p or 128p every time a glitch occurs the audio runs out of sync and remains so until i switch channel.
Easy solution for me is keep the older F/W but wondering if anyone else has this issue on the latest patch and knows of a fix.

Try pressing the pause button a couple of times this I find will bring the audio back into sync.
