    Default PCMtuner Ford SID208 Guide

Found a PCMtuner guide on Ford SID208 SID209.Same operation for Ford SID209, select corresponding module during operation
    Step 1. Identification

Identify ECU via OBD with ECU in car, or on bench with OBD breakout.
Select Module 07 - Ford SID208, click “Identification”.
Note these ECU details including VIN, SW Version, etc. if needed.
We can get VR files or damos for free by these details.
    Step 2. Read Password

Select Password option on Module 53.
    Then select
    Infineon Tricore BSL>>Password>>Ford SID208
    Step 3. Save Password

    Click “Read”.
    Wait for password reading.
Save it as a file. (Default file name will be serial number, which are also on ECU cover)
Also, program will also display ECU status like if signature verification is enabled.
    Note:
If signature verification is disabled, we can read/write this ECU as regular SID208/SID209; If not, go to Step 4.
    Step 4. BSL Unlock

Open ECU, solder two 1kΩ resistors:
Connect 1kΩ resistors to two via points, connect the end of the resistors to the two upper pads.
    Step 5. Read ECU

    1)Micro
Select Module 53 - TC1797 Micro, click “Read”.
Load password file we just got.
Program starts to read ECU micro data, which may take around 2-3 minutes.
    Save data file.

    2)EEPROM
Repeat above steps for EEPROM data.
    Select Module 53 - TC1797 EEPROM.
Then, Identification>>Read>>Load Password File>>Read and save EEPROM file
Now we can write EEPROM or Micro data back to ECU,
Or remove resistors, restore module, and write normally.

    Note:
1)When writing file, PCMflash will not correct checksum on this ECU, please manually checksum with things like winOLS.
2)Do Not tick “Verify/Fix CRC” before writing.
