Cant make up your mind then LOL, i think this will more than likely be my next box over the Duo2 as stated Blackhole will support it from the off and its Running a Linux based XBMC so should be something pretty good and also coming in cheaper than the Solo2 as well according to rumours. Again pure speculation but i would have thought in the next couple of months

    Fave replies from various threads

1: What the fff is all that about??? All that crap below your reply I mean, get a life mate
2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about,
3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives

Marusys owns Vu a little similar to other companys such as kef speakers they are the Mid range type while B&W ( Bowers an wilkins ) the main company are the Higher end equipment.

It's been stated that it's going to be cheaper than solo 2 but also runs on arm architecture and will be totally different to solo 2 and duo 2 linux. We will maybe get some test results released soon as some people will no doubt be testing at the moment. It does sound like a lot of fun though.

Well it Runs XBMC so any Enigma2 plugin unless modified wont run on it although Vu Community have said they will support it so i would imagine there wont be a shortage of addons for it maybe not at the start but later on.

As for Cams well it looks like it will be a whole new learning curve.

I am but airing on the cautious side as i may not be a first day adopter i would like to see what Vu Community do with support first as with everything no matter how good a receiver is or priced it means nothing if the support is not there

If a good amount of people pick these up and more importantly people start developing the more typical sat plugins we are used to (cams etc) these could be a must buy for sat hobbyists chances are though it'll just end up as one of those obscure but pretty cool sat receivers we've already seen (like the akimos) running xbmc is a huge plus though!

Ive used xbmc for years and its a great little media centre. I've currently got it running on pc in our bedroom and a old dimension pc in aunt's bedroom for watching stuff on NAS and streaming from vu+, I've also got it running on raspberry pi in living room to watch stuff from NAS..... So I'm a supporter of xbmc, but not sure how feel about this cube. Would be starting again with sat related plugins as none of the ones we are used to would be compatible. Assuming everything will be as transparent as in xbmc I'm sure people will find ways round stuff. Still, will suck it and see.

Maybe we'll hear something at anga cable? Really not sure on the aesthetics though, what is that big bit on the front?
Also disappointed it doesn't seem to have transcoding. Don't use the transcoding on my solo2 much, but it is handy to have.
