Finally got an AP installed upstairs...
And what an AP, reaches right at the end of the garden, and with excellent quality...

As I have take this opportunity to change the Master bedroom lightning, I was left with a hole on the ceiling, where the old chandelier was...

This is not the only AP I have, or the first one I have installed, but definitely the best one! (Taking in account the price!)

Finally managed to have the time to finish the living room speaker installation...
Was only left to fix it to the wall... here how it looks finished...

It looks great as it matches the speakers from my surround system!
Only the outdoors speakers are left to do... and the control panel for downstairs...

    Updates will follow.

Finally the last bit of the project is completed...
The panel downstairs is now in place and working well!

I am now incorporating the central heating on the panels... using Arduino boards... but that is a different story...

    A quick update...
The "china" panels/tablets finally gave up... so have had to be replaced...

    Upstairs...

    Downstairs...

The network switch also had to be upgraded...

The noise coming from the speakers, which was mentioned a few posts back, is now reduced to nearly none, a different renderer made the differece...
The app I am using is called BubbleUPnP, after a few months testing I bought the paid version.
The whole system is now working faultlessly, and stable.

    Quick update!

After 3 sets of PC ATX power supplies, I upgraded the system to individual 12 and 5 volts power supplies.
The 5 volts its ok, the 12 volts, although I had it in consideration, I think I should have had measured the load of the system, as I think the power supply I bought is not quite up to the job.
Saying that, is working for nearly a year now, see how it goes.
The cause is that on top of the audio system, the 12v power supply, is also feeding the CCTV cameras, the network switch, my "Bathroom Automation System" (See my other posts...) etc...

    20150625_170558.jpg

Apart from the power supplies the whole system has been working faultlessly!
I am thinking of making a video to demonstrate the system in action...
Will post it here as soon as its done...
