Post CD 30 Bench test solutions?

    Hello Everyone!

My project now, is that to power up a cd30 mp30 on my bench with a GID display.
I know the code for both of them, for the display code, thank's for some members, that helped me!
So right now i'm at a point, that I improvised a harness and connected display to radio.
But not the radio, and nor the display powers up, whatever button i'm pushing.
Since there is no pin for terminal 15, i think that it needs certain CAN message to enable power up.
Am'I right? Or is there any solution for my plan?

Thanks All for your time to reading my post and/or/ help me with my project to come true.

    Bye, Sabyjuhas :))

I know quite a lot modern radios have no switched ignition feed and rely on a CAN message to know when the ignition is on, however I would of thought you should still get some sort of power saving mode if you pushed the power button? Can anyone confirm this?

I've had a quick search around for some info for you:
    Yahoo! Groups

Sadly it looks to be manufacturer specific so you might have to try and capture the messages on the CAN network during ignition on from that specific car

    Hey!

Well it seems that i managed to turn on the units.
Now comes the next challenge, to code them together, and marry with a car, without the car..
For anyone who gets in the same situation as mine, here is the connection diagram that i used.

    GID /32 pin grey socket/:

    Pin 1; 2; > Terminal 31
    Pin 3; 5; > Terminal 30
    Pin 22 > CAN H
    Pin 23 > CAN L

These are the pins that you need to connect for power up.
On the radio, its obvious according to manufacturers pinout sticker.
