Default Updating channels without full scan??

Is there a way of scanning for new channel frequencies without having to do the full powerscan where it looks for transponders first and then searching for channels??

I recently lost ss1 and 2 of the movie channels but all my other channels are fine. I'm sure i've read somewhere that you can update the channels without having to do a full reset and scan but i don't know how. I have a eurovox 1000sl box.

    Help much appreciated!!
