Hi!
Did you solve the problem? I have the same problem..I can't connect on bench using codecard pinout.
Hey mates,
I've been trying to read the Opel hybrid ecus Simtec 71 with carprog on bench with no success!
Carprog can read these ecus via OBDII but on the bench it's won't connect at all!
I've tried with MPPS and KWP2000 too and i got the same problem!
So i think that the pinout given on the carprog manual is wrong and that's why i can't connect on bench!

Can someone help me with the correct pinout?
Thanks in advance
Hi!
Did you solve the problem? I have the same problem..I can't connect on bench using codecard pinout.
i use A1 cable with pinout to ecu with power sypply with home made cable , i never tried it direct , i always use a1 cable and never had problem , i could not find my 25 pin cable from carprog so i just used the a1 and maybe it was just a lucky mistake and have been doing it ever sinse like that
Ask a dumb question and become wise for the rest of your life, but act wise and stay dumb
I've used the pinout from wiring diagram but still no connection. A1 is modified. Carprog is 4.01 firmware.
Which one? Simtec 71, 71.1, 71.5, 71.6. Because 71.6 have CAN connection and you can't connect like in carprog manual with K-line.
OPEL 55352666 Siemens 5WK91740......guessing is SIMTEC 71.5
I managed to connect to this ECU....used CAN connection with carprog simtec 71.5 and A1 adapter and pinout from the photo attached.
Thanks all for help!

Hello, I was going through threads I found this which best scribes my current needs. Can I connect to this ECU using Xprog? I bought two of them same part number, but they never work on my Opel Astra G, Z18XE.
the diagnostic tool cannot connect, any help will be very highly appreciated.
Try carprog for eeprom and kess, mpps, galletto for flash. If there are simtec 71/71.1, you need the kline pinout, if simtec 71.5 and up then there are on can. Cheers!
