OK, I will give you my experience with this box, which I find with a poor quality, and I would not recommend it for a new buyer, unfortunately:
- There is no website or official support
- The box does not let me do any search as it is
- When I upgraded (the first zip uploaded to this thread) and imported the channels list, it worked! But I had to use the 'Ebird1, Astra 2x' for my channels search, even though I am in the Nilesat position. It turns out that this is the only Sat I can search for, as it was uploaded in the channels imported.
- When I reset the factory settings, back to the starts. No 'Antenna Setup' enabled, cannot search for channels, coz no sat is loaded to 'Antenna Setup'
- When I upgraded the latest firmware uploaded by 'super jumbe', the screen blacked out. It turns out that the HDMI is not working. Had to use the AV output to downgrade to previous firmware, and import the old channels list to make it work again.
Now I am happy (pretty much) that it is working with (hopefully) all the channels in Nilesat even though I used Ebird for search.
The only thing I would appreciate to have, is a channels list from Nilessat (or ideally all satellites) so that I can import them to be able to search those satellites if needed. Not a great approach but seems to be the only option.
I also have to avoid resetting to factory settings.
Thank you in advance.
Hi I am New Here But Just Wanted To know how to categorize channels from sat into asian,sports/ent etc. Thanks In Advance
I think the easiest way is to create Favorite groups. I think you can have more than 10 groups. So you can put each group fav group (Asian, sport etc..) and seek them when needed.
I wonder though if you are experiencing the same problems that I did, or maybe just my box is faulty?
Cheers.
Try this should work To upload 'channel list', goto tools and choose upgrade only "Ch_list". nothing else or i am not taking the blame.
Read here first before you delete all.
Try here m8 hope it helps
