already tried...heating up the MCP on two different ezs with same secured mc08 and still the same problem...non secured mc08 no problem...
I have contacted smok early today and they said that this mc08az60 with mask 4j74y can be a problem...

Also I have tested two types of jtag from smok(with an adapter and without) and still the same...

Has anybody sent there old unit back to exchange for a new one?

I added 2 more options with upgrade, that's why they didn't charge me for new device, but i had to send the old one back. You wont notice any deference besides you don't have to use adopter for HC08 mcu with new jtag
I only deal directly with developer, he actually replies on all my emails

Any One can tell me about Smok can Work with CAS 4 for 2014 model year or what , i have codi prog work with 2011 model year (1143) only but i have CAS4 (1342) , if any one work with smok till me can work wih new models or no

i am working on a mazda 2 module with MAC7242
i accidently write to shadow.. now i can not read any part of mac7242 , i can not read or write to eeprom, flash, shadow..
is there a way to force it to write to shadow???.. i have original dump of shadow..

Try to write back the main flash which I believe is 320kb

I can help, but you will have to send me the unit.
I have prototype of first smok jtag programmer (you can not buy it anywhere), and with it I can write all areas of MAC7242, even if other programmers will not let you do so...
