Well it seems that these Keydie's look to sell to individuals also with this development.

You're raight, this is the way of fishing, firstly they release priced tools, and when they feed market of locksmiths, services...etc than make new market, bunch of DIY customers (our customers), than our tools cant make profit anymore...Im not against people who want to save money, or if they want to make it yourself. But this is released as profesional tool, and professional service...at the end, this will homework for highschool kids, "Do It Yoursellf".

seems jimmy sees the diy market as better for keydiy than the locksmith market , lets hope the locksmiths dont desert his product for vvdi or another supplier who doesnt sell them out.

At the end of the day, the customer will still need to have the key programmed.
Locksmiths who program customer supplied keys are as much to blame as the company selling the product direct to the customer.

My company refuses to program customer supplied keys but other locksmiths in my area would do it for a cheese burger.

I agree with that. I'm a new in key programming but I refuse to program key supplied custumer too. I have just bought one kd900 and one kd900+ and a lot of key. Sell key directly to customer is not good for our job....I think
