i think you will just have to try it some have reported working on pug but i couldnt get them work if you have them i think try it is the only answer there
ive used 4DO 837231 N on a few TT around MY2000 and have worked fine , one lost its synch but after resynch worked and i never got a call back so i assume continued to work fine , both 4DO 837231A and 4DO 837231 N should work on that year , silly question mate but did you try making an N remote rather than an A remote as maybe a bug in A remote software as ive had N remotes work fine , but on TT of these years ive only had success on any remote by using manual procedure for coding it .

Ive used before too, I tried both remote options on different remotes and will not program to this car, but strangly, an original used remote programmed in straight away!
Maybe just a strange car, had no coms with any modules on first visit, 2 weeks later, went back and got comms so programmed key and car started, then try to program remote and the rest is documented above...........

an odd one mate , but hey at least the emissions were clean
LOL rapid, thats gonna be a big talking point soon!
Just on the subject, I did an Audi a few weeks ago that the remote would program up & after about 20-30 pushes would stop working. Ttried anbother remote & an aftermarket that wasnt KD & the same thing. I think it may of been the wrong remote but was similar enough to program up. Was thinking that after a certain amount of pushes it went out of sync, maybe the algorithm was just a little bit different....dunno, not to clued up in that side of things, but got the correct remote & all sorted

You know what I would like more Jimmy?
I would like you to fix the issues I have raised with your product before that you refuse to comment on.
Last one was post 476.
So I got some of the new NB07-1 ID46 remotes.
The back cover does not positively lock on the end that has the key loop.
They have used this mushy white plastic that just does not work.
All 5 remotes were the same, the design is faulty.
The old case backs will work 100% and lock in correctly.
Why did they release this product when it is faulty?
They must have known that the cases did not lock together correctly.
This sort of thing makes people loose faith in a product, lift your game guys.

I tried a BMW EWS remote the other day on an X5 as a mate of mine was saying that he couldn't get the KD remotes to work for him. I can code in the KD900 and use that but when I program a remote it does not work. I normally use the Chinese keys for these so it doesn't bother me, but it would be nice if the BMW keys did work.
