The first generation didn't work for me. I checked the part number was mentioned in this topic for ceed but the car didn't see it. I tried to program using 3 different tools what I used before on Kia Ceed cars successfully. After that I tried all Kia 433MHz remote without success.
Any news on 8e0 Audi A4 remote yet 433?
Also astra H?? Pleeease Jimmy!!!
Anyone have this and VVDI? Is KD900 more reliable in generating remotes that will work? Looking to purchase one or the other soon for US market

KD is better.
Will the remotes that come with the KD900 work with all cars in the menu or do you have to match up certain remotes for certain cars?
Also what does kd900 offer over mini kd for the $200 price difference?

Hi all ive just purchased a kd900 and I am going to try and set up a remote for a Nissan note 2012 sthe type that has the coil on the circuit board,do I take it I will need to use one of the NB series remotes, the universal one,I believe it is th iD46 crypto chip on the original.I use te B seres as it says in the keydiy list it will not work.
ay advice would be great
The first thing to do is look on the phone app and identify which remote you need, it will tell you which remote type is required.do you have the remote part number? I'm not familiar with this key. If the original has build in transponder i don;t think you will have any luck with B-type remote as the remote and transponder will be programmed together (Nissan maybe different)
However i looked through the Nissan list and don't see any NB type remotes listed. It may be possible though that your required key isn't covered.

Thanks for the replys,I thought the nb universal key, that has embedded transponder chip, set up for Nissan in key diy software would set it up to be programmed, not to worry....
In principle that is what needs to be done, however it doesn't seem that key diy has the programming data for the particular remote you need in its database yet.
Its not just a case of setting the remote to the correct transponder type, but also about think about the remote in terms of what transmission frequency to set, what particular data to transmit from the remote to lock/unlock the car doors etc...
Nissan (and other manufacturers) remotes are not all the same, you would need to pick one from the database with the same part number & specification as the original.
What transponders do I need to carry to program most cars? Should I just check different car keys on americankeysupply and order all those different transponders or are there more advanced ones that cover many different transponder types?
You could stock the different types listed on americankeysupply or invest in the knowledge and equipment to convert raw chips as and when required.
Depends on your business model, budget, experience and market.
