    Default satlink ws6906 tuning problem

    hello everyone,

I have a satlink ws-6906 i just did an upgrade for the software and after that the meter is not working anymore. the machine is booting and functional but the "lock" light is always on and when i try to scan a certain TP the quality and signal bars are both "0%".

The question is how can i reload the original firmware that was shipped with the satlink, or anyone have another solution for this problem? maybe its a tuner driver problem.

    Thank you in advance

    Default solution for ws-6906

For everyone that is having the same problem, the solution is very simple. I did get a "custom" firmware for the machine and did perform an upgrade.

Now the machine is working perfectly, even better than the stock firmware.

This is the firmware + upgrade tool, hope it will help other people in the future. Also i will try to get the original firmware and also try to share it here.

its an rs232 to usb cable and should have been in the box,but I"v used one of these meters for about 5yrs now and never found the need to update it like that . Isimply use the menus to add sats,TPs,channels etc;Menu.scroll L/R til you find what you want to alter.
