upa can't read secured hc08 series mcu, buy etl 908 programmer it's the best for these,you need computer with com port to work with this tool

It’s not true , if You have security bytes then You can read ee without a problem.

I read a lot of ezs with 908 sec bytes are known.
Easy in circuit No need to lift Any pins.
