Hello masters, I go to the car started ok but remote proximity fuction isn't working, I reprogrammed the key but no succes reprogramming, and still no working Remote proximity Fuction the key is supposed to be new brand from the dealer, i have all the packages from the key and invoice in my hands, wich is the correct procedure after recieving the dump from mr. Gwee to get proximity working?

sooooooo thank gwee car start 100000000000000% start and remote WORK all smart funcation work perfect and i add anather key by X-100

Hello again.
I've already saw you post telling me it's used key but i need to be sure if i'm doing well the reprogramming Procedure with techstream, and then go to the dealer and complain about the used key.... can some one explain me wich is the correct way of reprogramming the same key to get proximity working? This is the way I'm trying:

1. go to Entry and Start
2. go to utility
3. register key code
4. Touch button sw with REGISTERED KEY.....ok
5. Touch button sw with "KEY TO BE REGISTERED" #Here i get stuck# the time gets over and nothing happens!!

Am i Doing something wrong?? If key is totally virgin the same key will get over the 5 step??? many thanks

Hello the car has the steering wheel in LEFT side, the key frequency is 433 MHZ,
dear Gwee If the owner decides to reset both modules idcodebox and smart key ecu to use the "used key", ?? to start the car with techstream the procedure would be: "register ID of comunication ECU" of Just "Register key code"???

I've removed whole dash but still can't see it, where is it hidden? don't you have a pic of the location of id code box for Left hand drive Land Cruiser Prado?
