This engine ECU is a very common failure for the Vauxhall Corsa/Combo 1.3 CDTi built from 2006 – 2013, the failure of the ECU is caused by water ingress due to the poor location of the ECU within the water drain channel under the windscreen.
Yes, rumor states, put 4x m6 nuts first then ecu to Jack it off the deck

guys i've got this same problem and want to fix this,
every time i connect on bench with full power pins current doesnt show high (.5A) but when connected to car its blows 10A fues,
any solutions ?
Some BMW diesels suffer from same sort of thing. With them the thing at the end of the rail is a pressure regulator. It has 2 wires. When it goes short internally the driver mosfet in the ECU tries to switch battery voltage straight to earth which obviously blows the fuse. Bigger fuses will eventually fry the mosfet.

Hello all !
I have similar problem with mine.
Corsa D Z13DTJ, ECU number: 55568002
Have replaced ECU caused water damage with another used one. It is blowing 10 Amp fuse, pos.20 with ignition on. Vehicle have been standing for about half a year. Ownes have changet all injectors before.
I could start the engine this morning. It had rough idle for about 30 sec until fuse vent again.
How can I check transistors on this board?
Now engine won`t start. When I disconnect injectors 1 and 4, engine starts on two cylinders. Fuse is holding fine. transistors seems to be fine. Have compared meassurement with another ECU.
hello,i have similar problems with a 2010 corsa d 1300 dtci. the original ecu had water damage, bad so it was not repairable. so i found a replacement ecu, looked visually ok. no water damage. i have swapped the eprom so coding not required. the car will start and run for 5seconds. then cuts out.
using opcom i can see that i only have 5.7v from main relay. fault code p1625-02 main relay output voltage low. i have 12v into the ecu.so what internal part do i need to change? .the car wiring is ok,as i have fitted a different ecu that works ok ,and the car runs fine. any help ?
ecu part number 55568383 kz mjd603.s3
Extacly the same here...
It is the circuit of injectors 1 and 4 that are causing my issue...
The transistor that feeds that bank gets really hot, to the point that bruns.. fuse 20 (10amps), also blows if I connect those two injectors.... not because the ecu is shorted, but because that circuit is constantly powering injector 1 and 4... so is the load that burns the fuse...
I have repaired a few of this ecus with water damage, but this issue is the first time I had... this is followed by P2146...
I will update if I get to find what is causing this problem.
You can also check this, with all injectors disconnected, if I plug 2 or 3, I can hear the injectors pulsing... connect 1 or 4, and I hear a click and then a constatnt buzzing... injector constantly being powered...
Scope also confirms this...

Please donīt try to repair your Corsa D 1.3 Marelli ECU.
If was water inside and you try to repair after some time it will give problems again.
Best solution is to find a used ECU and copy information of your ECU.
Most of ECUīs with problems you can still read all information by BDM.
If you get one used ECU same part number only changing the eeprom will work fine most of cases.
If you get a used ECU Corsa D 1.3 Marelli but with different part number you just program it on bench with BDM. Full read from old ECU and full write on new ECU.
It always works 100%.
Donīt forget to clean ECU cases and put correct sealing product to prevent future water ingress.
I have done many many of these. If you ever need any Corsa D 1.3 Marelli ECU files, please ask. I will give you for free.
If helped, please press Thanks + Reputation.
What I've done is...
Original ECU broken and water damaged.
When tried to read original ECU I couldn't see vin..
Got pin for second hand one and I got it programmed on the car.
Few fuses blown,replaced..
If I unplug injector 1 and 4 the capacitor is not getting hot.
With all injectors connected the capacitor is hot, really hot..
