    Default Skybox f5s Freesat?

    Hi, can anyone tell me.
If I get a skybox f5s am I able to do a scan and pickup just freesat fta channels.
Basically I don't want to add etc I just want it as fta box.
But there seems to be very little info on using the f5 as an actual legal freesat box?
    Any help appreciated

    :-)
Ok so how would I go about doing it? Would I have to scan in all the channels then delete all the encrypted channels or is there a predone channel list for freesat only already out there?

    Anyone know?
Thinking about getting one shortly for the purpose of freesat, and seems to be the cheapest box on the market?

You can either scan for FTA only (but then you would have loads of channel 4's etc. at the beggining of the channel list & the channels will be in no logical order), or you can install AJ's or sattv5's channel list & select the FTA favorite.

Why dont you just Buy an official Freesat HD receiver the Manhattan HD-S2 Freesat Receiver is roughly the same price at ?49.99 from any local currys/pcworld it has the official 8day Freesat EPG as well as having BBCi Player and ITV player built in and can also take a wifi dongle if required, Not too sure about the recording though

Purely because if I buy f5s there is always the option for there. And the media player is meant to be half decent on the f5
    Also it's only ?39
