I also use the FG tech At the Moment.

But my first ecus i do with galletto 1260.

It will work. Do it this way and it will work

Use the original Adapter Form FG tech with breakout cables

Watch the image Here you must add 2 x12v + in the original Adapter with small Pins because the Adapter dont have enough. You need also a clamp for give a Ground in the Chassis oft the ECU also this you must add at the original Adapter. Watch Herr how i did it

and last but now least you must put a switch for ignition signal 12v+ on ECU me3.x - 7.x it ist the pin 50 in connector A and Fiat me7.3h4 its also pin 51. You dont need to put a resistor in the Boot pin it needs a good ground.

When you have all connected power up the ECU and the FG tech with the 12v power suppy. But leave the ignition switch on off Position. Then choose your driver for read and write the ECU. The put the ignition switch on on. Press ECU id it comes a Massage window, you must but the ECU...... Blabla.press OK
Then i comes another window with the Massage put ignition oft and on did this and wait only 2-5 seconds between again switch on on the ignition.

Today i do a me7.3h4 Form a PUNTO looks Here it works.

    Greetings from switzerland

PS i do many of this ecus with different tools
    Galletto 1260
    FG tech v50 v51 v53 and magpro 2
But when you dont have a ignition switch i ha always a Problem to readand write the ecu

Heres how i have it connected, its electrix diagram with pin 50 added for Ignition with a switch built into this ignition wire aswell. It just wont work at all, always get "BOOT MODE INACTIVE". Turning ignition ON and OFF makes no difference at all

pay attention - the Alfa ME7.3.1 has a different pinout as the Fiat version - Fiat has the boot pin on pin 20 of connector B (opposite to sticker) - Alfa has the boot pin on pin 20 on connector A (sticker side!) !
i use a different pinout as your last picture > +15 (ignition) on pin 47 of connector A , extra +30 ( permanent power) on pin 48 of connector A and 2x ground on pin 24 and 25 of connector A.
boot pin connected before power on.
    good luck...

isnt that where i have the boot pin already? Do you have a diagram of what you use. I said im doing an Alfa 156 so thats what electrix has provided I thought, this diagram is wrong then?

You can try to add VCC to pin 48. Pins 24 and 25 are normally connected to TPS and MAF so don't connect it.

then why are you grounding them yellowstilo? this is becoming confusing, does anyone have a diagram of ALL connections tested and working 100% please?

i guess your problem is the +15 (ignition) - you connect it to connector B, it has to be connected to connector A on pin 47.
you can check pin 24 and 25, they should be connected to the housing of the ecu (ground of TPS and MAF)
Lots of people read these ecu's without any trouble so you should manage to read it too assuming your hardware is ok...

Your ignition pin is in the wrong site its de pin 50 Form the another connector wehre is the k line and the 12v + pins.
You will find the ECU pinout in the FG tech documents inside the Software under the Installation folder.

My showing ECU is not the same Like yours.

Mine is a me7.3h4 from a Fiat PUNTO that has the Boot pin in the other connector like you Seen in my Foto that i post it bevor.

The ignition pin for m3.x - 7.x is in connector A pin 50
For the me7.3h4 is it the pin 51 an connector A thats the diffrence. And also the Boot pin are not in the same connector.

    Greetings
